After a shock departure from the graphics cards business back in September 2022, EVGA might be shutting down the rest of the business. As WCCFTech has found, SAFEDISK, the Korean Overclocker, has announced that all EVGA Taiwan office employees have resigned, which could be a possible sign of the company disbanding or reshuffling.

When it was still in the GPU business, EVGA made some great Nvidia cards.- However, with the coming of the RTX 40 series, it decided to stop producing them citing that Nvidia doesn’t respect its board partners. The manufacturer making its own Founder’s edition model a lot more appealing and with better margins than the AIB partners can afford.

That means after 22 years they pulled out of the whole business. Now that might even include the rest of the PC components it supplies. Safedisk mentioned how even Kingpin left, a notorious overclocker who produced some of the best GPUs and overclocks, but that was expected with the shutdown of the GPU business.

What is a surprise is the rest of the staff leaving. What is a concern is the warranties of the products it supplies. Until EVGA issues a statement we can only speculate, but it did promise to keep GPU support even after shutting that down. Therefore it might be the case it does that for its power supplies or cooling. As all of this might just be one division and the rest still could be intact. It would be a shame to see it leave
