Fortnite and Epic Games have had many controversies and made yet another controversial change to Fortnite. The Fortnite Creative mode has been incredibly successful. However, it still has a lower profit margin than Fortnite Battle Royale. As a result, after the recent layoffs, Epic Games has chosen to place its Creative modes front and center.

However, Fortnite players are not happy with this new change. This change comes after announcing the increasing V-Bucks and controversial Share the Wealth emote. Since then, there have been many changes to Fortnite, and this one centers around the Fortnite home page. Find out what new controversial change Epic Games has made to Fortnite and what players have to say about it.

What controversial change has Epic Games made to Fortnite?

There have been many controversial changes happening in Fortnite and Epic Games. Due to the recent layoffs, Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney announced they will take new steps to help Fortnite grow again. In the official email, the Epic Games CEO states that Fortnite’s growth has been primarily due to Creator Content.

As a result, Epic Games has made a controversial change to the Fortnite official website layout. In this redesign, Fortnite has moved several Creator Content tabs to the top of the page. Due to the change, many Fortnite players have expressed their dislike for the new change.

However, the change of tabs is not what has Fortnite players upset; instead, it is the selection of maps. Many players who have been playing Fortnite since its first launch are disappointed by the choice of maps and state that the website now looks similar to Roblox.

Fortnite is age-restricted for players who are 13 years and older. However, many creative maps look similar to younger players’ interests. As a result, many have been confused with the type of maps advertised and have stated their dissatisfaction.
