The next Fortnite season will be unique, according to leakers. Season 5 will reportedly bring Chapter 1 back, which is why many players are excited. The first chapter of the game ended in October 2019, but it seems that Epic Games will bring it back next month.

Surprisingly, the company teased the return of Season X during the FNCS Global Championship in 2024. While there is no confirmation about the return of this season, this was likely a hint at it. Season X was controversial, but bringing it back would be a dream come true for many Fortnite players.

The next Fortnite season could also include Season X

Epic Games released the v26.30 Fortnite update last week, bringing the Fortnitemares 2023 event. Kado Thorne’s Time Machine also arrived with the update, and it has a big hint regarding the Chapter 1 return. The Time Machine has the release date of Chapter 1, Season 5, a season that will probably return next month.

However, there’s another season that could come in November. The Brazilian Fortnite Competitive account teased the new season on X (formerly known as Twitter) by posting a GIF of it.

The GIF was used to promote the FNCS Global Championship 2023, even though it has nothing to do with it.

While the return of Season 5 was nearly confirmed by Epic, many players were surprised to see the company teasing Season X. Due to BRUTE mechas, the season was very controversial. However, there’s a chance that players will have to deal with these overpowered vehicles once again.

We are still a few weeks away from the new Fortnite season, but we’re hoping that the Fortnite creator confirms all this content soon. Many players are excited for the return of Chapter 1, but, unfortunately, it’ll likely last for only four weeks. With the rumors of Fortnite Chapter 5 launching in December, the next season could be the shortest season of all time.
