This free Fortnite skin expires on Tuesday, here’s how to get it

Epic Games has released numerous free Fortnite skins over the past few years. Besides skins, many other free cosmetic items have come out for free, including gliders and pickaxes. Unfortunately, one free skin will expire on Tuesday, but the good news is that you can still unlock it.

The skin is called Underworld Desdemona, and this article will explain how you can obtain it. The free cosmetic item will be available until Tuesday, August 8, and won’t be obtainable after 9 AM Eastern Time.

While the skin will expire soon, you can still participate in Fortnite’s Reboot Rally program and unlock four cosmetic items for free. Additionally, Epic Games will soon release the FNCS Renegade skin for free for a limited time.

How to unlock the free Fortnite skin

Underworld Desdemona is a free Fortnite skin that’s part of the Coldest Circles Quest Pack. The pack was obtainable from Epic Games Store until June 15. If you received it and haven’t unlocked the skin yet, you have until August 8 to do so.

To add Underworld Desdemona to your locker, you need to level up 50 times after obtaining her. While Epic Games estimates that this takes an average of 25 match hours, the truth is that it can be done much faster.

If you haven’t unlocked the skin yet, it means that you still have many weekly challenges available. Due to this, you can unlock the free Fortnite skin in less than five hours. As soon as you level up 50 times, the skin will be added to your locker.

You can track your progress on the quests page. In addition to the free skin, you will also unlock free back bling, pickaxe, and wrap. If you don’t unlock these items, they will likely be released to the Item Shop at a later date, but you’ll have to buy them with V-Bucks.
