The Fortnite x The Elder Scrolls Online collaboration is finally out. The collab was leaked a few days ago, but Epic Games just released it. It has resulted in several new cosmetic items, as well as the free game on the Epic Games Store.

Thanks to the free release, it’s possible to get 300 V-Bucks for a limited time. However, this can be done only once. Additionally, it’s important to note that Epic Games may remove these V-Bucks at some point.

This article will explain how to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite. You can also check out our guide on how to get the Sigil of the Alliance War back bling for free, as well as how to get the Ebonheart Battleaxe.

EDIT: It is no longer possible to obtain free V-Bucks. Additionally, Epic Games removed 300 V-Bucks from the accounts that used this method.

How to get free V-Bucks in Fortnite

The Elder Scrolls Online is currently available for free on the Epic Games Store. The offer is valid until July 27, but for some reason, it’s possible to claim the game twice. Once you get the game the second time, you will get 300 V-Bucks to your Fortnite account.

To do this, open Epic’s digital storefront and add The Elder Scrolls Online to your library. Once you obtain the game for free, refresh the page and add it to your library again.

When you log in to Fortnite, you will get a pop-up message with free V-Bucks. In addition to this, you will receive the Sigil of the Alliance War back bling.

One of your recent Epic Games purchases includes a special Fortnite reward that was already purchased, so we’ve returned those spent V-Bucks to you. Thank you!

Epic Games

Considering that this was likely not intended, Epic Games will probably fix the glitch with the Epic Games Store very soon. If you are on a gaming console, you can perform this process through your mobile phone’s web browser.
