Epic Games constantly works on improving Fortnite and adding new features to it. The video game has received hundreds of updates in less than six years, a testament to the hard work of the development team. Constant updates seem to be a recipe for success, which is why Epic will stick to them.

Fortnite Chapter 5 seems to be around the corner, according to leakers. If this is true, the Fortnite developer will release a new chapter in late 2023. Due to this, it’s no surprise that Epic is working on adding a couple of new game-changing features.

These features will likely be released in Chapter 5, and here’s everything you need to know about them.

Fortnite players will soon be able to perform wall running

Each chapter of Fortnite Battle Royale has brought amazing new features. Chapter 2 added swimming and fishing, while Chapter 3 added mantling and tactical sprinting. Chapter 4 added hurdling, even though it’s been disabled for a while, as well as Reality Augments and major graphical improvements.

While Fortnite Chapter 5 is still at least a few months away, some of its features have already been leaked. Besides the long-awaited first-person mode, Epic Games is also working on adding wall running and wall kicking.

These movement features were first leaked a while ago, but leakers weren’t sure when exactly they would come out. It turns out that Epic Games is saving them for the next Fortnite chapter, which makes sense since it’ll likely be released in late 2023.

At the moment, no one knows how exactly these new mechanics will work. However, they will likely require additional stamina to perform. Either way, these will be game-changing mechanics which will force players to adapt their playstyles. If everything goes according to plan, they will be released in either November or December.
