Epic Games has released many changes to Fortnite Battle Royale over the past two weeks. The v25.20 update, released last week, was massive, but the game developer added even more changes after that. The latest update was rather small but has still brought several significant changes.

Considering that Fortnite Chapter 4 – Season 4 is right around the corner, we expect Epic to keep releasing massive changes to the video game. However, even before the new season comes out, the game developer will keep releasing new updates.

Here’s everything that changed with the latest Fortnite update, including a massive buff.

Moving across the Fortnite island is much faster thanks to the buff

Epic Games introduced mantling as a new mechanic back in Chapter 3. The movement mechanic has become so popular that it’s nearly impossible to imagine the game without it. It allows players to move faster across the island and pass even the toughest obstacles.

With the small update on August 1, Epic made mantling much more effective. According to iFireMonkey, a reputable Fortnite leaker, mantling can now be activated from a range of 325. This is a massive buff considering that the previous range was only 250.

In short, mantling was buffed by 30%, which is fantastic.

In addition, Epic Games also unvaulted the Grappling Glove. The mobility item will be used for the new set of challenges that will be released on Thursday, which is why Epic brought it back. While the latest Fortnite update was small and required no download, it certainly improved in-game mobility.

The next update will be released on Tuesday, August 8. The update will bring a lot of new content to the popular video game, including new cosmetic items, weapons, and more. Additionally, the Fortnite x Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration will come with it.
