The latest Fortnite update has brought some minor changes to the video game. The Summer Escape event has ended, which is why Epic Games removed the ice creams from the game and vaulted the Firework Flare Gun.
In addition to this, Epic also unvaulted an item that was available during Chapter 4 for a brief time and added a new Reality Augment. The next major update will come out on July 25th, which is when we will receive even bigger changes to Fortnite.
This article will explain everything the new Fortnite update has brought, and we will reveal full patch notes.
Epic Games unvaults one of the forgotten items with the latest Fortnite update
Epic Games has released several smaller Fortnite updates over the past few weeks. Considering that the company was on summer break, we expected Fortnite to go through a content drought. However, Epic has still made some minor changes to slightly alter the game.
Big Bush Bomb, one of the forgotten Fortnite items, was unvaulted with the July 18 update. The return of the item, which was previously leaked, is perfect for the current season and the jungle biome.
In addition, Epic Games released the Shrub Mud Reality Augment, making the Big Bush Bomb even more effective. The new perk allows players to become covered in mud when hiding in big bushes, leaf piles, and tall grass.
With the conclusion of the Summer Escape event, Epic also vaulted the Firework Flare Gun, along with the Ice Cream. Finally, the summer event lobby background has been removed from the game.
The next major update of Chapter 4 – Season 3 is scheduled to be released on Tuesday, July 25. This will be the second major update of the current season, and we expect it to bring a lot of new content.
