The latest Fortnite update arrived on Tuesday morning. Even though Epic Games is currently on summer break, the update was prepared earlier and released on time. Unfortunately, one of the fan-favorite items was removed with it.

Despite Chapter 4 – Season 3 being out for only a month, the game developer has made numerous changes to it. By vaulting the Heavy Sniper Rifle, Epic has caused outrage from the community. The latest vaulting most likely won’t make the situation any better.

Here is everything you need to know about the new Fortnite update and all the changes it brought.

Fortnite update vaults Chug Cannon

Chug Cannon is an Exotic item that is used for healing. The item was first added to Fortnite with Chapter 2 – Season 5 but is no longer available. Epic Games vaulted it with the latest update, and it cannot be found from Supply Llamas, nor from Holo-Chests.

The Exotic item was available for approximately two years. Epic vaulted it with the start of Chapter 3 but eventually added it back. This time, however, the Chug Cannon was replaced by Slap Splashes, which are more effective.

Rare Slap Splashes can be found in chests, coolers, and many other loot sources. They heal 15 HP and grant 30 seconds of the Slap effect. Epic Games also released the Exotic version of the item. This version grants 30 HP and 60 seconds of stamina boost.

In addition, the Splash Party Reality Augment was also added to Fortnite Battle Royale. This perk immediately adds four Slap Splashes to a player’s inventory.

The Slap effect is what makes the new item very effective. However, the Chug Cannon was rechargeable, which is why many players carried it. Despite taking two inventory slots, the cannon was one of the most valuable items.
