The Fortnite x World of Warcraft collaboration would be a treat for gamers. These two games have millions of active players combined, and there’s a lot of potential for a collab. Fortunately, it appears that it’s already in the works.
According to Wowhead, the latest Public Test Realm (PTR) patch for World of Warcraft has several references to Fortnite. From One Pump to Slurp Drink, new abilities all but confirm a new collaboration.
Considering how popular both of these games are, a collaboration could be very successful.
Fortnite x World of Warcraft collaboration might be released very soon
In the latest PTR patch, Blizzard Entertainment references Renegade Looter, which might be a new boss or an easter egg. The mysterious creature has several spells, and all of them hint at a Fortnite x World of Warcraft collaboration.
Here are all of the spells from the latest patch notes:
- Cranking 90s – The Renegade looter rapidly constructs a tower to gain the high ground.
- One Pump – The Renegade Looter carefully aims a deadly shotgun blast, inflicting 1000 Fire damage to any players hit.
- Shockwave Bomb – The Renegade Looter throws a Shockwave Bomb at the ground, knocking them and players away.
- Slurp Drink – The Renegade Looter slurps refreshing juice, healing for 2% health every 1 sec.
- Disco Bomb – The Disco Bomb explodes, causing anyone within 3.5 yards to dance uncontrollably and increase damage taken by 50% for 5 sec.
- High Ground – While on the high ground, the Renegade Looter’s damage taken is reduced by 99%.
- Glug Jug – Consume the Glug Jug to restore full health.
- The Storm– The Storm inflicts 10 Nature damage every 1 sec to players not within its eye.
Not only are spell names related to Fortnite, but their descriptions are as well. Cranking 90s is all about rapidly constructing towers, while One Pump is the deadliest attack in the video game.
At the moment, no one knows if the potential collaboration would bring something new to Fortnite. However, World of Warcraft has many interesting characters which would be perfect for Gaming Legends Series, from Thrall to Lich King.
Additionally, Blizzard’s video game has many dragons, and they could be added to Fortnite as gliders. Some of the game’s most popular swords, like Frostmourne, would make great back blings, while Epic Games could also add some amazing music packs.
It’s important to note that the collaboration hasn’t been confirmed yet. There is a chance that this is simply an easter egg, which wouldn’t be surprising considering how many of them World of Warcraft has.
