Epic is back with its rather generous store deals for PC gamers once again. From now until January 20, players can get their hands on Galactic Civilization 3, and get one of the biggest space 4X games to release.

If you want to get your hands on Galactic Civilization III, then you’ll need to open the Epic Games Launcher. Once when you’re on, you’ll more than likely get notified of the giveaway in your notifications tray. However, if you haven’t been notified, you only need to go down to the store section, click the Discover tab at the top of the client, and scroll down. Eventually, you’ll stumble across the free games section of the Epic Games Store, which you can redeem Galactic Civilization III on Epic.

For those wondering what Galactic Civilization III is, it is a space-faring 4X game with many different ways to play it. The game generates a different save every time, with unique worlds containing anywhere between 16 to 100 different civilizations, depending on your rule settings. Morso, you can get your hands on creating unique looking space ships and fleets. There’s also an in-depth economy to control, along with hypergates to build and defend to allow interstellar travel to be achieved much easier. This game is like Stellaris but came in much earlier than Paradox’s space strategy. Not to mention the ship designer on Galactic Civilization is much more in-depth than Stelaris’. All in all, if you’re a fan of the genre, give this a proper try.
