The recent Genshin Impact Co-op hack has now been resolved. While there has been plenty of evidence of this hack going around on popular social media platforms, such as TikTok or YouTube, many fans still believed this to be a hoax.

However, those affected have patiently awaited any news from developer Hoyoverse regarding the situation. While the hack has been dealt with swiftly, Genshin Impact has released official confirmation regarding the situation on Twitter and Reddit.

This Genshin Impact hack has now been resolved

The popular Genshin Impact gacha game has been attacked by malicious players using a plug-in to tamper with game data. With this plug-in, these players will enter another player’s world in Co-op and remove items. Doing this has prevented players from playing the game under normal circumstances. In the post, they stated, “The relevant issues have been fixed on August 25.” As a result, the Co-op mode will now work as intended. Therefore, you do not need to worry about your items going missing when accepting a Co-op invite.

However, while many Travelers in the community have been in fear of this co-op hack, the official Genshin Impact Twitter account has released a statement stating the issue has now been resolved.

Though the issue has been resolved, Genshin Impact developers will continue monitoring the situation. Players who have since contacted Genshin Impact Customer Service through the email address provided in the post above have had their accounts fixed.

However, they have stated a select amount of accounts have not been restored. They said, “This issue will be fully restored in a future update.” Furthermore, they have stated, “we have banned accounts using these plug-ins and will take legal action against developers, users, and disseminators of such plug-ins.”

After the post, plenty of fans who once believed the hack was a hoax or were terrified of this hack have commended Genshin for clarifying and confirming the situation, as mentioned by a Twitter user. The user stated, “I’m glad that Hoyo finally gave us clarity,” and another said, “I can’t believe Thanos Kaveh is real.” Thankfully, you won’t have to worry about this hack anymore.
