Genshin Impact’s Journey of Snow and Stars promotion heads to the Alps
Head to one of the best global ski resorts through Genshin's web portal this winter.
MiHoYo, the developers behind the hit game Genshin Impact, has launched the game’s latest event. The Genshin Impact Journey of Snow and Stars event is now live, offering the players the chance to get event themed rewards, along with doing a real-life promotion in the Alps.
What is the Genshin Impact Journey of Snow and Stars event?
The Genshin Impact journey of snow and stars event is a brand-new event that went live on December 29, 2021. Players have had over one year to celebrate the Dargonspine map expansion, which players have come to love in that time. To celebrate the real-world influence, the horn in the Alps now has a Genshin Impact takeover, with the game’s banners (not the 2.4 banners) decorating the ski resort.
If you’re not over in the Alps right this second, don’t worry, as there’s content you can get involved with. You will find a login screen if you visit the Genshin Impact journey of snow and stars’ event page. Players can participate in this interactive web event by logging into the page and getting a glimpse of the Alps. Those who do partake in the web event can experience Alps related content, along with earning exclusive rewards.
To qualify for the rewards, players will need to visit the web portal and get involved. Those who take part can help light up a special teleport waypoint placed in the Alps. Doing so allows players to claim a customized photo card featuring the snowy peak and their favorite character amongst other new goodies. Moreso, there’s also a feature requiring you to write down your wishes. Those who write their wishes in the event will have a chance to send them to the real-life Tree of Wishes atop the Alps. If one million players manage to do this, then there will be a special Alps Waypoint stream in mid-January.
Interested? You can head over to the web page and participate in the new Genshin Impact journey of snow and stars event. Note that it is fairly laggy at the time of writing and there are log-in issues.
