IF you were wondering what you could be watching as the festivities draw to a close and you ponder how much you shouldn’t;t have eaten, then miHoYo has announced a forthcoming treat for Genshin Impact fans. That’s right, we are finally going to get a good, in-depth look at the 2.4 update of Genshin, including a new map and quests – basically everything we can expect in January 2022 and it’s going to happen in a live stream in just a couple of days.
How to watch 2.4 update live stream
The broadcast will be appearing live on the Genshin Impact Twitch channel on Boxing Day (12/26/21) at 7 AM (UTC -5) (4 am PT / 7 am ET / 1 pm CET) and it looks like it is going to be packed with content for Genshin fans. What’s new in Genshin Impact 2.4?
MiHoYO has started in a blog post earlier today: “11 new Commission Quests will become available in Version 2.4. By completing specific prerequisite quests or meeting given criteria, you will have the opportunity to receive these Daily Commissions,” so it looks like good news for those who were beginning to get a bit bored of the existing quests.
It also indicated changes to Material Domains are on the horizon.
“In Version 2.4, we will optimize access to Material Domains. You can click on the Source section of Weapon Ascension Materials or Talent Level-Up Materials, and be redirected to the corresponding Domain. The Domain for said materials will be automatically selected after you enter it. By accessing domains this way, Travelers can largely avoid clearing the wrong Material Domains.”
