The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 pre order date was 10th August, 2022.
This immediately followed the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event on the same date.
This means the Galaxy Z Fold 4 pre order is now live!
All pre-ordered devices will be shipped out on the Galaxy Fold 4 release date, which is August 26th, 2022.

The Samsung site is running pre order deals on all of its new products announced at the August Galaxy Unpacked 2022 event, including the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro 2, and Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 4, and Galaxy Z Flip 4 Bespoke Edition.
You’ll get access to a free memory upgrade (worth $120.00), a free Standing Cover with S Pen (worth $89.99), and the option for up to $1,000 trade-in credit if you hand in an older device (depending on its condition and model).
In addition to this however, if you click this link you will also get a $200 Samsung credit eCertificate, which stacks on top of these other savings.
As you can see below, if you trade in a recent model Samsung phone in good condition (either the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, or Galaxy S22 Ultra 5G), you can save $1,209.99 in total! Just make sure Yes, trade-in is selected about halfway down the pre order page, then pick the device you want to trade in, plus its condition.

Samsung pre order not working?
There has been some frustration about the Samsung pre order system not working on the Samsung site for some users.
The issue seems to be that part way through the pre-order process (whether it be for the Galaxy Z Fold 4 or a different device) that the page crashes, producing the following error message or similar (depending on your browser):
Service Unavailable – Zero size object
The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later.
As you can see in the below tweet, this isn’t the first time this has happened following a Samsung Unpacked event.
The Samsung site seems to be working fine for us now, and the only recommendation we’d have would to be continue trying and refreshing the page. Whilst irritating, you’ve got a good few days in which you can secure your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 pre order deal still.
