How to get the Handcannon in Resident Evil 4 Remake

Of course, a weapon like this isn’t just handed to you during the game. While there are many weapons you can find throughout the Resident Evil 4 Remake, you can only get the Handcannon by completing the game. It doesn’t matter what difficulty you complete the game on first so long as the game is beaten. Once this is done, start a new game. Make sure that you aren’t on new game plus. A fresh save will be needed here.

The Handcannon can be unlocked by completing the game on Professional Mode without using any bonus weapons. Bonus weapons include any weapon that you can get from the bonus store. Once done, the Handcannon will be made available for purchase for 1,000 CP. With the release of Mercenaries Mode, you can also get the Handcannon in a different way. If Professional Mode is proving too difficult, you can load up Mercenaries Mode and complete all of the stages with an S rank. Doing this will also unlock the Handcannon in the store. The newer method of unlocking the Handcannon is far easier and is able to be done within 15 to 20 minutes if you are quick enough.
