Pre-orders for Iiyama’s freshly-announced Red Eagle G-MASTER GB3446WQSU are now available. Announced earlier this month, Iiyama’s new gaming monitor offers players a sleek 34-inch curved ultra-wide gaming monitor at a budget price. Functional and simple in its design, it’s a no-nonsense solution for those that want all the benefits of a sizable curved monitor without the hefty price tag usually synonymous with the technology.
The 1500R curved 8-bit VA LED panel is reportedly designed to mimic the human eye’s curve to accentuate a sense of immersion with a comfortable and realistic viewing experience (horizontal/vertical: 178°/178°, right/left: 89°/89°, up/down: 89°/89°). It comes with a 144 Hz refresh rate, 1ms response time, 3440 x 1440 resolution, 3000:1 contrast, and 400 nits brightness. The 4.9-megapixel UWQHD resolution offers a 21:9 aspect ratio.
The Iiyama Red Eagle G-MASTER GB3446WQSU ships with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro compatibility (up to 3440 x 1440 at 144 HZ via Display Port and 3440 x 1440 at 100 Hz for HDMI) and HDR400 alongside welcome technologies such as Black Tuner to tinker brightness in shadows and darker areas, predefined and custom gaming modes (notably FPS and strategy) that can be customized to suit the user’s preference, Blue Light Reducer to ease eye strain, Flicker-Free tech, and adaptive sync technology for low input lag and tearing-free gameplay.
Pivoting to connectivity, the Iiyama Red Eagle G-MASTER GB3446WQSU’s available connectors include two HDMI (max. 3440 x 1440 @100Hz), and two DisplayPort (max. 3440 x 1440 @144Hz), two USB 3.0, HDCP support, and a 3.5 mm headphone out.
Other features include a joystick controller to adjust the picture (brightness, contrast, saturation gamma, etc.), color settings, and audio settings, two 3W speakers, and a Kensington-lock. The Iiyama Red Eagle G-MASTER GB3446WQSU comes with an adjustable stand that can be altered to a height up to 110 mm and tilted from 20 degrees upwards to 5 degrees downwards.
