The LG C3 remains one of the best OLED TVs to date, though it has now been overtaken by the latest 2024 model. With that in mind, one lucky person has come across a 55-inch C3 on clearance at their local Walmart, with a massive price cut to boot. Not everyone is reporting the same success though.
If you’re in the market for a brand-new TV, you may want to consider making the upgrade to OLED. This display technology is among the very best, especially if you want crisp visuals, excellent responsiveness, and accurate colors. We’ve seen the C3 discounted a lot lately following the launch of the LG C4 OLED TV, but nothing quite on this level.

55 inch LG C3 OLED TV spotted on clearance at Walmart
A massive discount has been spotted by user IndigoFruit427 on the deals sharing site Slickdeals. In their post, they say that this deal was found at a Walmart store in South Asheville, NC. As we can see below, it has been reduced to just $784, a significant $614 lower than its usual $1,398 price tag.
For comparison, we’ve put together a list of 55-inch C3 OLED TVs across different online retailers alongside their price (at the time of writing):
- 55″ LG C3 OLED TV at Amazon – $1,296.99
- 55″ LG C3 OLED TV at Best Buy – $1,299.99
- 55″ LG C3 OLED TV at LG store – $1,299.99
- 55″ LG C3 OLED TV at Newegg – $1,396.99 + $140 gift card
Where can I find it on clearance?
While this clearance offer is no doubt outstanding, it won’t be easy to find a similar discount for yourself. Maybe unless you’re in the Asheville area. That being said, if you have a Walmart store local to you, it’s always worth checking out the kind of stock they have. You may be surprised to hear that Walmart are stocking OLED TVs at all, since they generally stick to lower-priced brands such as recently-acquired Vizio.
All we can say is that this clearance deal is a very specific one, so it’s unlikely that you’ll come across something similar. Either way, anything close to this price would be excellent value for money and well worth jumping on.
