Samsung’s latest Galaxy S24 smartphone is officially launching on Wednesday, 31st of January, and if pre order statistics are anything to go by, then we could see Samsung’s latest Galaxy Series return to its glory days.
In an ETnews report, Samsung Electronics announced that the Samsung Galaxy S24 had hit the highest number of pre orders in Galaxy S Series history, making it the brand’s most successful pre-launch ever. As of now, the Samsung Galaxy S24 has received 1.21 million pre orders, an 11% increase over the 1.09 million orders of its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy S23.

The most impressive pre launch stats come from India and South Korea, both boasting huge pre sale numbers respectively. With such high pre orders, now might be the perfect time to return back to team Samsung – as the latest Galaxy smartphone looks set to offer a tonne of exciting technologies and features.
With the US market share between IOS + Android currently sitting at around 57.93% (IOS) vs 41.64% (Android), it’ll be interesting to see how the next few quarters factor in, with the pendulum seemingly swinging towards Android once again.

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24 imminent, this question may feel a bit obvious, however, with stock levels at potential risk of selling out, it may be worth putting your pre orders in to ensure you’re guaranteed a unit.
Fortunately, pre orders are still available on the Samsung S24, running for the next 36hours – according to the official Samsung S24 countdown clock.
Pre ordering the phone is, thankfully, pretty straight forward. Better yet, early pre sales in both India and South Korea all point towards a decent launch for Samsung – which often means a decent smartphone has been produced.

That’s not bad if truth be told, especially when you factor in how much the standalone unit increases when jumping between the various available models.
Of course, the brand is also offering its usual “trade-in and save” campaign, with up to £370 up for grabs in the UK. The US will also be offering a similar package, with up to $750 in trade-in credit up for grabs.
