This MSI G243CV 24″ gaming monitor has dropped below $100 for the first time ever, and it’s a deal you can’t miss if on you’re the hunt for budget gaming monitor. Although it don’t feature the best specs we’ve ever seen, you can’t ignore a nice price reduction from a well-respected brand.

As we said, this is a MSI curved gaming monitor, which offers up added immersion while being easier on the eye thanks to the more natural curved design, which is complimented by the wide viewing angle of 178°. It features the familiar Full HD 1080p resolution, and a competitive refresh rate of 75Hz. Although we’d like to see 144Hz and above for fast-paced games, it’s still a bump up from a basic 60Hz and offers smoother gameplay for those on a budget. The 1ms response time is also a must for gaming, so you’re covered there too.

Despite its drawbacks, the well-known brand MSI may guarantee better build quality and general customer support than budget brands, and there are some additional features to consider. First off, AMD FreeSync is supported and will prevent screen tearing hand-in-hand with the quick response time. MSI also offer the Gaming OSD App which allows you to tinker the display settings to your liking. The frameless design is sleek and the wide color gamut for realistic, accurate colors is also more than welcome.
