If you are into the popular anime My Here Academia (Boku no Hero Academia) then you are going to love My Hero Ultra Impact which is now available on mobile devices free of charge.

We say free of charge, well it’s now a gacha RPG so if you do get into it, be sure of one thing – it is going to cost you.

the focuses mainly on 3v3 combat based around your character’s unique ‘Quirks’. Quirks are activated during batters and you can string them together to create devastating combos.

Obviously, you can buy coins from the game’s cash shop and enhance your Quirks or buy new ones – gacha time. The game also follows some of the main events in the anime. Here we get a story mode that will follow along with Midoriya’s story and fans of the anime will be familiar with some of the key parts you get to see and play along the way.

This type of game has a specific interest group but it is a large one. The growth of mobile gacha games has been phenomenal over the past couple of years and Bandai Namco’s foray into the world here looks alike a solid one. Of course, you don’t need to spend money if you don’t want, just expect your progress to be artificially hampered.

You can head to your favorite app store now and see if it is for you, and the trailer below will give you an idea beforehand if this is a universe you want to sink your time, and money, into.
