One of the biggest cult driving games on the PC ever, Need for Speed Underground 2 has been crying out for a remastered version for ages. Fans of the game demand it, modders have had a go at it but so far there has been nothing from EA, the original publishers
Need for Speed Underground 2 would, in our opinion be quite tricky to pull off as a remaster, not because of the game itself, rather the large volume of licensed cars and music the original had. A lot of those deals might need to be renegotiated, and well, that is a pain in the ass for publishers to do, so you end up with a potential disaster like the recent GTA effort.
Need for Speed Underground 2 Remastered Release Date
There has been a surge of rumors and specualation recently but no hard evidence the project even exists at this stage. We’ll add more news to this page as and when (and if) it comes through.
