Some rumors have come out on the possible AMD’s next GPU lineup and more particular RDNA3 specifications. There hasn’t been much information on the upcoming Navi3X so we may have a hint of what it entails. Although there has been no official information from either AMD or Nvidia on the upcoming releases expected in the second half of the year.

Although initially the reports from a few days prior suggested a much higher array of cores they have now been adjusted. The information stems from the known leaker Greymon55 on Twitter and provides an early glimpse as to the power of the lineup.

RDNA3 specifications

For the upcoming flagship, the Navi 31 GPU is made up of six shader engines, 12 shader arrays, and 48 workgroup processors. And so come with 12,288 stream processors, and if they do run at 3.0 GHz then the operation of the chip will be 73 TFLOPS. This is likely what will end up being the RX 7900 option.

Whilst the Navi 32 is expected to have 8192 stream processors. Comprised of 32 workgroups, 8 shader arrays, and 4 shader engines. The Navi 33, is said to contain 4096 stream processors. Consisting of 16 workgroups, 4 shader arrays, and 2 shader engines.

Although lower than claimed previously it still is an improvement of the current generation as to be expected. This competitive nature may also be pushing Nvidia to the push even further. With the latest RTX 4000 rumors suggesting it is testing a 900W GPU and aiming to get better performance but at what cost. As well as the potential of exceeding even AMDs number and reaching 100 TFLOPS with its top end.
