There are many game studios these days, some bigger, some smaller, but I would say that there are never too many. Brand-new game studio Rebel Wolves has been created by the former CD Projekt RED executive.
Former CD Projekt RED game director Konrad Tomaszkiewicz has unveiled a new studio called Rebel Wolves. It is a very interesting time for polish game developers. Techland has just released its biggest game to date Dying Light 2 which is a great game. Nothing groundbreaking, but with 5 years of support announced it can be a very good title.
Similar story goes for CD Projekt RED itself. With the release of Cyberpunk 2077 in 2020, they are still updating the game with big expansions on the horizon. Even recently, we got a brand new 1.5 update for the game.

New Game Studio Rebel Wolves First Project
As reported by gameindustry.biz, a new gaming studio has emerged. Rebel Wolves’ aim is to create the best Role-Playing-Games out there. Their first project is a dark fantasy RPG, so something similar to what we have seen with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
Tomaszkiewicz said a lot in that interview, but most notably that he felt that the vision needs to be established in order to start. The aim is for the team to stay fairly small, filled with the industry’s veterans and passion.
We will see what the future holds, but it looks very promising. I for once cannot wait to see the first trailer and gameplay from their new dark fantasy RPG in the future.
