SteamDB overloaded by Steam Summer Sale 2023
Users have managed to flood SteamDB so fast that it has tripped a defense mechanism within Cloudflare, SteamDB’s website host.
It seems that many users are going to be met with a long waiting list when rushing to the site to check for the latest sales during the Steam Summer Sale. As the popularity of the Steam Summer Sale has pushed masses of gamers to the live statistics site for quick info on the latest deals.
SteamDB is a fantastic website to get all of your Steam information from. The site, when working, can be used to track sales, view live player counts, check your Steam account value, and so much more. We’ve highlighted the sales tab for you, so you can jump straight into the discounts on offer during the Steam summer sale.
SteamDB also seems to be having trouble pulling in data from Steam, possible due to the high traffic on the site currently slowing things down a little.
When will SteamDB come back online?
The website isn’t strictly speaking down, but Cloudflare, the site hosting provider, has placed a waitlist on the site to prevent it from being flooded with users and potentially crashing altogether.
