The LG B4 OLED TV deserves a much better pre order bonus than this

Lagging a little behind the more premium options, the entry-level LG B4 OLED TV is finally up for pre order on the LG store, but why should you buy it early? Well, LG like to offer up some pre order bonuses, but we think that it deserves a better offer or bundle than what’s currently live.
First came a C4 pre order bonus which was also a little disappointing, so we shouldn’t be too surprised. The C4 at least offered 25% off a selected soundbar, but current special offers for the latest B-series model doesn’t even get a home theater bundle like this to complement your new OLED TV.

What bonuses do you get?
Instead of targeting the common TV & soundbar bundle deal that is pretty popular these days, LG is offering a free Smart Cam with the B4, alongside a couple of other extras.

- Free wall mounting or TV stand installation (mount is sold separately)
- Free LG VC23GA Smart Cam worth $99.99
A free piece of hardware which will usually set you back just shy of $100 doesn’t sound bad, but we feel that most people aren’t going to make full use of the smart cam. It’s chiefly designed for video calling, which we’d say is outside most people’s TV usage. The 5% back in rewards is probably the best selling point here for us, particularly if you’re a fan of LG.
B4 pre order bonus is worse than the C4 & G4
Like we mentioned in our intro, the C4 can earn you a soundbar discount when you pre-order – which seems like a much better deal for most people. Though it is a hard sell if you’ve already got the best soundbar for TV ready to go. This limited-time offer is available for both the C4 and G4, and you can check it out on the LG store while it’s live. As for the B4, the smart cam doesn’t really do it for us.
Regardless of bonuses, we feel like the B4 is a decent option this year – much better than 2023’s B3. We recently covered two reasons why the 65-inch model can be a fan favorite.
