It’s been quite some time since the ATX 3.0 spec has been introduced and these are focused on the 12VHPWR power connector. So Thermaltake is expanding on the range of options with an introduction of ATX 3.0 PSUs at Computex 2023.
This new range continues the focus on new power connections. With the RTX 40 series using the 16-pin connector, it’s good to have a compatible PSU to match it. But these connectors have had their issues. With the new introduction to them, we saw the 12VHPWR connectors burning up and this does continue. To fight it even MSI is color coding the connector so none of it should be visible and become a danger and the GPU and PSU can communicate and provide the right power needed.
So now Thermaltake is expanding its range of options for power supplies to fulfill the range of needs. Ranging in power and efficiency it has a lot to offer for your new top-end graphics cards.
