Call of Duty: Warzone has gotten many updates as of late, bringing in new features to better the royale battles for its players. Some of these updates have consisted of increased health or the removal of AI bots. Now it seems we might have an update making some changes to the circle cycle.
The game, a lot like Fortnite, has a circle that closes with each round causing players to be forced into a closer space with one another to battle it out. This ensures that the round progresses and doesn’t come to a standstill. However, it seems that Warzone has undergone an update to change this feature.
Raven Software announces changes to Warzone closing circle
Today, Raven Software, who works on Warzone and other Call of Duty video games, made an announcement on Twitter letting players know about the change that was made to the first closing circle in the game. This change player might love as much as the others.
According to Raven Software, this small update went out to reduce the speed at that the first circle closes in Vondel Resurgence. This is a map that was added in Season 4, and with this change, players will be granted the larger area of the map for a longer period of time before it shrinks.
It is hard to say if players are happy about this change, some will be, but the comments are flooded with players experiencing other glitches with the game, which seems to be a broken record thing for Warzone. Furthermore, there is no confirmed reason as to why they released this update. To begin with, some players even asked why they did it.
It isn’t determined why the developers felt the need to make this change, but it can be a positive as it’ll give players a bit more time to explore the map, gather weapons, and then set off to battle their enemies before the circle begins to close in on them.
