Destiny 2 servers went down last night in preparation for today’s launch of The Witch Queen expansion. With several hours of downtime before the game is ready, you could well be reading this page in the middle of that period. Let’s check.
Destiny 2 scheduled downtime
- UK: 2:45am (GMT, Tuesday)
- Europe: 3:45am (CEST, Tuesday)
- US: 9.45pm (EST, Monday)
- US: 6:45pm (PST, Monday)
When does Destiny 2 come back online?
Right, so with downtime out of the way, let’s talk uptime. When is Destiny 2 due to come back online complete with The Witch Queen expansion?
Well, if all goes to plan everything should come bursting back to life at the regular Tuesday reset time, which makes it:
- UK: 5pm (GMT)
- Europe: 6pm (CEST)
- US: 12pm (EST)
- US: 9am (PST)
Is Destiny 2 down?
Even after the game comes back online we expect large queues and potential server issues, so hang in there and be patient. If this happens to you try again a few hours later when everybody has calmed down.
