MSI Claw pre order details

We didn’t spot the MSI Claw available for pre order in every single region, but many places were offering it. This includes pre orders from a number of their partnered retailers. Back when ASUS launched their handheld equivalent, the ROG Ally, we saw pre-orders available on retailers such as Best Buy, but in this case the MSI Claw arrived sooner than expected.

Spanish retailer PC Componentes was originally advertising pre orders for April 1st, but the Claw starting showing up as available to buy much earlier than that, starting on March 8th. This kick-started the launch and left many retailers without much of a pre order phase at all, if any.

How much does the MSI Claw cost?

We already know how much the MSI Claw will set you back as this has previously been announced. There are a couple of different models to account for, as well as differing storage space. The standard Intel Core Ultra 5 model with 512GB storage will cost $699. For the high-end model which features the Intel Core Ultra 7 CPU and 512GB storage, the price rises up to $749. The same Ultra 7 model will also have a variant with 1TB storage capacity, which is priced at $799.99.

Based on the Spanish retailer listing for the Claw, we can see how this converts to Euros. Sadly, they don’t yet list the Ultra 5 model, but we know that the Intel Core Ultra 7 SKU will cost €879 and €929 for the 512GB and 1TB variants respectively. In the UK, we found the Ultra 5 512GB for £699 and Ultra 7 1TB for £799 at Currys.
