Will Dave The Diver see a discount in the 2023 Steam Summer Sale?
Dave the Diver has just released out of early access on 28/06/23; because of this, the game has received an introductory discount of 10%.
This is a pretty standard occurrence as more and more developers are choosing to offer a discount for a set period after a game release.
We recently saw this with Forever Skies, seeing a 20% introductory discount.
The issue is with how long the introductory discount on Dave The Diver is set to last. Making it unlikely that Dave The Diver will see a discount during the Steam Summer Sale 2023.
How long does the introductory offer last on Dave the Diver?
According to Steam and SteamDB, the 10% Introductory offer is set to last until the 12th of July. Merely one day before the Steam Summer Sale ends.
This means that whilst technically, Dave The Diver will be discounted 10% through the duration of the Steam Summer Sale 2023, it will not receive a further discount for the sale event.
The game is still a mere £15 and is very well-reviewed, so you should jump on the chance to pick up Dave The Diver at a slight discount. Though we wouldn’t blame you if you want to wait a day, just in case Steam decides to discount it further. Though, we see this outcome as unlikely.
