Gamers enjoying Wo Long on console might have had nothing but good things to say about the game, despite other publishers stating it’s the ‘biggest catastrophe of a PC port‘ ever seen.

Team Ninja, developers of the game, released the above statement which apologises to fans, while also promising a patch will be released imminently which fixes the camera problems.
It’s not unheard of for Souls-like games to have poor PC compatibility with keyboard and mouse, and speaks to a wider problem with action RPGs perhaps.
The issue that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty seemed to be facing at launch was to make character movement and direction handling nigh on impossible, especially if you’re moving slowly. The adaptation of third-person controller settings on console to mouse and keyboard is tough, so we can’t be too surprised.
Other issues also include reports that some gamers are not able to reach 60FPS on PC, which seems to be a whole other issue. To add to this, the game’s experiencing issues with a black screen on launch, and it seems that the developers had a pre-prepared solution to this published on their site.
When will the patch be released? It’s unclear at this point in time, but we’ll be keeping an ear to the ground for any updates.
