Will Baldur’s Gate 3 be coming to Xbox Game Pass? The game by Larian Studios, developer of Divinity Original Sin, is set to launch on multiple platforms. For a long time, the game has been in early access on Microsoft Windows PC.
There is no denying that Baldur’s Gate 3 is a very big game that is filled with all kinds of craziness for you to experience. Everything from divine magic to dark dungeons can be found as you explore the Forgotten Realms.
There have been issues dealing with the constraints of the Xbox Series X/S. With Baldur’s Gate 3’s release date looming in early August, many are wondering what consoles the game will be on. Could it be on PlayStation? Can you romance your way around the really big city on Steam Deck? What about Game Pass? Is Baldur’s Gate 3 on Game Pass?
Will Baldur’s Gate 3 be on Game Pass?
Unfortunately, Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be on Game Pass at launch. There is also no word about the game getting put on Game Pass later on which means that it probably won’t be on PC Game Pass either and, instead, will remain solely on Steam.
The reason for this is the developers ran into an issue when creating the port for Xbox consoles. For this reason, the Xbox version of Baldur’s Gate 3 will be delayed for a while. The issue came about due to the Xbox Series S having issues with the split-screen co-op in the game.
With the Xbox port getting delayed, Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be on Game Pass. There is always a chance it could be put on Game Pass later on after the release of the Xbox port. Unfortunately, there has been no indication that the Xbox version of the game will be released anytime soon.
For now, those who want to get the game through Game Pass will need to wait for an unknown amount of time.
