How to obtain the Bloodless Scream ability in Diablo IV

Bloodless Scream is a Unique Two-Handed Scythe that can be equipped for the Necromancer Class. As a result, the Bloodless Scream unique weapon is a rare item that can only be obtained in random drops. So, defeating World Bosses, Gathering Legions, opening chests, or Nightmare Dungeons will give you a higher chance to get this item. However, this item will only drop in World Tier III Nightmare. 

You will also have more luck obtaining this item if you participate in the Helltides events and open various Helltide chests. Once again, you must switch to World Tier III. You can do this after completing the campaign and the Cathedral of Light Capstone Dungeon. 

What are the best Bloodless Scream builds in Diablo 4?

The Bloodless Scream has a unique effect in which your Darkness Skills Chill enemies for up to 40%. As a Lucky Hit, your Darkness Skills have up to a 100% chance to generate (7-10) additional Essence against Frozen targets. 

Due to the Bloodless Scream weapon utilizing Darkness Skills, this item can work with any Darkness Ability. It should also be mentioned that Bloodless Scream will restore Essence each time a Darkness Skill has successfully hit a target. It can work in cohesion with the following abilities in your Skill Tree:

  • Corpse Explosion, which can become Blighted Corpse Explosion
  • Blight 
  • Reap
  • Sever
  • Shadowblight 

Additionally, Darkness Skills can be used to Freeze your targets. This will apply cold damage to your opponents, which in turn will assist your Cold Skeletal Mages to keep your targets frozen. It should also be mentioned that Darkness abilities utilize Crowd Control elementals. This will keep the monsters at bay while you use your Shadow Mages and Cold Mages to apply additional damage on frozen enemies. 

 You can also use the Penitent Greaves’ unique effect and Coldbringer’s Aspect for Skeletal Mages; this will apply effects such as Chill or Cold Damage.
