Are you looking for all the new endgame bosses coming in Season 2 of Diablo IV? Blizzard has announced that with the new season on its way, there are new endgame bosses being added for hardcore players to take on.

Bosses have always been a major part of Diablo IV. They are essential for farming for loot, gaining XP, and plenty more. With the Season of Blood, players will have new bosses to hunt for and new loot to gain. Who are all the Season 2 endgame bosses? We’re here to give you all the details.

All Endgame Bosses coming in Season 2 of Diablo 4

There are a total of five new endgame bosses coming with the start of Season 2 of Diablo IV:

  • Grigoire the Galvanic Saint
  • Echo of Varshan
  • The Beast in the Ice
  • Dark Master
  • Echo of Duriel

Each of these bosses has their own unique loot table, which means you can target farm them for specific Unique items, including Uber Uniques. Make sure you have enough inventory space to pick up all the goodies.

You can see below the way creators expect the bosses to be tackled. This flow chart shows you not only the way content is expected to flow in the Season of Blood but also what level you need to be for each activity and what you need to accomplish before you can take on each boss. As you can see, you have to be at least level 50 to summon each boss. From there, you can see the various activities required before you can take them on, if there is one.

Unfortunately, we don’t know much about their combat strategies and attacks yet, like what magic to use and what elemental resistance you’ll need for each. But, we do know the requirements you’ll need to meet to fight them. We also know some special rewards you’ll gain from them. Here’s a breakdown of each boss:

Grigoire the Galvanic Saint

Grigoire will be available on World Tier III and World Tier IV. In order to face him, you’ll have to gather Living Steel from the Tortured Offering in Helltides. Once you have enough, you’ll be able to fight Grigoire. Along with special Unique items, you’ll also be able to earn the Demonbinder Mount Armor Cosmetic from this endgame boss.

Echo of Varshan

The Echo of Varshan is another boss coming to Diablo IV, also available in World Tiers III and IV. To summon him, you’ll need to Defeat Grotesque Debtors during Whispers of the Dead to gain his body parts. Tree of Whispers collections, which you can get with Grim Favors, also guarantee a part of Varshan’s body. You can summon him once you have enough parts, although on World Tier IV you’ll also need a Malignant Heart. Not only does Echo of Varshan have exclusive Unique items, but he also can give you The Flesh-Weld Rod Trophy as a drop if you’re lucky.

The Beast in the Ice

The Beast in the Ice is the first boss on this list to only be available in World Tier IV. You need to gather Distilled Fear crafting material while completing Tier 30 or higher Nightmare Dungeons. Once you’ve gathered enough of the material, head to the Occultist to craft a Glacial Fissure Nightmare Sigil. Once activated, you can fight the beast. Like all the others, this endgame boss has specific Unique items to earn, but the Skull Torch and Fell Steed Mount Trophies also have a chance to drop.

Dark Master

The Dark Master is only available in World Tier IV. You’ll need to acquire Exquisite Blood to summon him, which you can earn from defeating world bosses on World Tier IV or completing a Legion Event. Once you have enough, you can fight the Dark Master. This boss also has special Uniques that are specific for him, but also the Diadem of the Ancient Helm Cosmetic has a chance to drop from his defeat.

Echo of Duriel

Last but certainly not least, the Echo of Duriel is also only found in World Tier IV. You’ll need to gather Mucus-Slick Eggs and Shards of Agony crafting materials from defeating Grigoire and Echo of Varshan in World Tier IV in order to summon him. However, once you have enough of both, you can fight the Lord of Pain, Duriel. Duriel is the only boss on the list that has the chance to drop Uber Unique items, along with other specific Unique items. You also have the chance for him to drop The Smoldering Brimstone Mount upon defeat.

As you can see, all the new endgame bosses require you to complete endgame activities in order to fight them, although they have different tasks. These bosses will be found around Sanctuary and will stick around after the end of Season 2, unlike the rest of the seasonal content that will go away. The endgame experience will get a complete upgrade with this new content. Make sure you have the best gaming laptop to have the best chance to take them all on.

Every new fight will breathe life into Diablo IV, and players are particularly excited for all the new boss fights. All the endgame bosses are coming with Season 2 this October, the Season of Blood.
