Killing Kelvin in Sons of the Forest

Kelvin is an NPC that can help you survive your time on the island. All you’ve got to do is command him. He’s not even annoying like some other NPC companions in games, he’s deaf and mute! No annoying one-liners to speak of with ol’ Kelvin.

However, if you’re really trying to put your solo survival skills to the test, you can do away with Kelvin. All you need to do is pick up your weapon and use it to kill him.

If you’re looking for a companion with a little bit more autonomy, I suppose you could go on multiplayer with your friends too!

Does Kelvin respawn if you kill him in Sons of the Forest?

Companions will be downed if they take too much damage, so you can always revive them before it’s too late. However, if you fail to save him in time, Kelvin will die.

Let’s hope you’re happy with your decision. Whether it was accidental or not, unfortunately once you kill Kelvin, he’s gone for good. No going back with this one.

That’s right, you’re unable to revive him or respawn him after you’ve committed the deed.

He’ll let you know when enemies are nearby and collect useful items, so we recommend he stays alive for your sake!
