Do you want to get Counter-Strike 2 on Game Pass? Microsoft’s subscription service for the Xbox Series X/S and PC platforms has been a very popular addition over the years. Many games have come to the Xbox Game Pass service on day one, allowing more players to get access to games without spending tons of money.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has been the go-to game for many fans of first-person shooters over the past few years. Valve created this game some time ago and it has remained popular. CS: GO players are obviously excited about the release of a second game. With the announcement of new features coming to the game’s successor, there is much to look forward to.

CS2 could be free-to-play just like CS: GO. It could also be coming to PlayStation. There was a limited test to show off some of the game’s many mechanics. Will this game be available for Game Pass members? Is Counter-Strike 2 on Game Pass?

Will Counter Strike 2 be on Game Pass?

Currently, there has been no confirmation that Counter Strike 2 will be on Game Pass. Valve released information about the free upgrade to CS: GO through the Steam community pages. Among the many questions that were answered, none of them centered around the game coming to Game Pass.

Because of this, we don’t think it will be very likely that the game will make its way to Xbox Game Pass in the future. Since Counter-Strike 2 is owned by the Valve Corporation, it is hard to see it coming to any other device than PC, MAC, and Linux.

There is, however, a small chance that the game could find its way to other consoles. This is because CS: GO was released on the Xbox 360 and the PS3 a while back. The original Counter-Strike also got a release on the Xbox. If either console has a chance of getting CS2, it would probably be Xbox. Whether this means the game would come to Game Pass is yet to be determined.
