The long-running and incredibly popular Counter-Strike series from Valve is bringing the next iteration of the franchise to the players. Counter-Strike 2, which will be a free upgrade to Counter-Strike Global Offensive, is coming for platforms everywhere.

Will CS2 be on Nintendo Switch?
While there is no official word from Valve on where the game can be found besides PC, MacOS, and Linux, it’s unlikely that CS2 will see a release on Nintendo Switch. Because CS2 is an upgrade for CS:GO, which was not released on any Nintendo consoles, the same will probably be true for CS2.
However, nothing is official from the Valve development team yet, so this could easily change and the game could see a launch on Switch come the release date. We’ll update this article once more information comes out on the sequel.
