CS2’s movement has been on everyone’s minds with the big changeover from CSGO. But now it’s gone to the next level, as this one Reddit user has managed to recreate Michael Jackson’s lean-in game. Now we just need the music in the background and you can get a whole concert in the game.
Michael Jackson lean in CS2
User DarkStunter posted a clip of their movements in the game on the Global Offensive subreddit. The clip shows Darkj in-game peeking mid on Vertigo but with only their top half swinging out, but their legs being dragged behind like some limp sausages.
Since the CS2 release, many have been finding bugs and complaints about the new game and engine. Comparing it to CSGO, there are plenty of changes and differences so it’s no surprise that these kinds of things are being found. Even then Valve has been patching the game every few days to keep on the biggest issues and improve it.
DarkStunter stated they were able to achieve these dance moves with an analog keyboard. By pressing the movement keys only partially, allows the top half of the model to move, but the legs don’t cooperate and are being dragged along, potentially giving an advantage to the player.
The issues of the MJ lean
Although it is a cool party trick, it might not be the best thing to be kept in the game. If the leg hitbox is staying with the actual legs, then the peeker is at an advantage. With only the toso swinging, there is less body for the opponent to shoot. Although more experienced players tend to not shoot the feet, it still reduces the likelihood of spotting the Micahel Jackson clone.
CS2 did seemingly have a peekers advantage before its full release, and many still believe in it, so if that’s the case, you would see even less of the terrorist when they peak as Jackson. We can expect this stuff to continue being patched out especially as it needs to be more Esports ready these days and this might just give an advantage.
