In Dead Island 2 players have a special move or mode which is called fury that is unlocked organically as you progress through the story. The fury itself allows the player to go into a heightened state where you do more damage and only use your hands, so you can’t use weapons when like this. It is very similar to the Spartan Rage from God of War.

How do you use fury mode in Dead Island 2?
In order to activate the Fury Mode in Dead Island 2 click both analog sticks on the controller, when the Fury meter in the top right of the screen fills up.
It is worth keeping this for when you find yourself in a bit of a jam, or you’re overwhelmed by enemies. You still have to be careful though when using Fury because you can still take damage, even though you’re a lot tougher. You can also change your Fury and how it builds up by using different skill cards.
