A new season of corruption is upon Diablo 4 players, and you may be wondering how to get Caged Hearts. A new threat emerged with new characters, gear, and seasonal questline. Of course, let’s not forget new legendaries and a new boss battle.

Though Blizzard will be releasing a new season with plenty of rewards to be obtained, make sure to get your Forgotten Souls and Coiling Wards. So, follow this guide to learn how to get Caged Hearts in Diablo 4.

How to collect Caged Hearts in Diablo 4?

A new season of Diablo 4 will begin on July 20, 2023, in which players can fight new powerful monsters, collect new unique items, and gain new powers. To get Caged Hearts in Diablo 4, you must defeat Elite monsters.

During the season of the Malignant, the world of the Sanctuary will be overthrown with new Malignant monsters. There is a chance you will come across Elite monsters throughout Sanctuary. However, they will turn into Malignant enemies you must defeat. You can see what type of monster they are beneath their name; it will say Malignant.

These monsters will have Malignant outgrowths, which will give them new powers. Once you defeat these monsters, it will drop a Malignant Heart. Once you interact and Capture the heart, you will begin a Ritual using the Cage of Binding

However, the fight is not over yet, so ensure you are equipped with a healing potion if the previous battle was challenging. After the Ritual, it will spawn another Malignant monster more powerful than before, along with minions. After you defeat the new enemies, it will drop the Caged Heart in Diablo 4. There will be different types of Malignant Hearts, each of which can give you a new power you can socket like a gem.
