Probably the most anticipated game of the decade, Diablo 4 is expected to release tonight for early access. Most fans predict that the servers won’t be able to handle the early access numbers, let alone the standard release.

The servers will only be accessible to those who have purchased the ultimate edition until the main release. However, some players have given in because they can’t wait until the main release.

Diablo 4 Servers are about to take a hit

Diablo 4 with a standard edition would take a few days to give access, but many players couldn’t wait that long. We’re seeing more and more posts and tweets from players who pre-ordered the ultimate edition just to get a hold of the game a few days early.

It’s a pretty big deal when someone is willing to give extra money just to get into a game’s early access period. However, we already saw the beta servers take huge hits and even have long queue times and even have errors due to the amount of people. We can see that this will soon become an issue if too many people go for the Ultimate Edition.

The Ultimate edition only costs $30 more than the standard edition, entering the server early would cost less than half the price of the standard edition. If you’re that into the game, pre-ordering the Ultimate Edition seems reasonable, even if you’re on the fence.

To be honest, who wouldn’t feel special playing a game before others?

So we can see people really test these servers to their limit.

What’s crazy about this is that it’s not a competitive game, really. Players would benefit if they got into a game like Call of Duty early. This gives them time to learn the meta, test out strategies, and boost up their ranking.

This isn’t the case with Diablo 4.

Diablo IV just has a lot of love. The game can be experienced completely alone, for the most part, and never really need to interact with others. We wouldn’t recommend it since the world bosses are tough fights, but it’s an option. So the need to play early is just because you want to play the game.

There’s no shame in giving in too, we totally understand if you want to enjoy Diablo Early Access over the weekend.
