As soon as Season One starts, there will be new questlines, new monsters, and new rewards to earn all the way until the end of the season.

Yes, in order to play Season One of Diablo IV, you have to beat the campaign on at least one character. The story of the Season of the Malignant takes place after Lilith’s defeat in Sanctuary, and you will need to have completed this before you can take part in the season journey.

If you haven’t already beaten the main storyline in Diablo IV, now would be a good time to do so before the release of Season One.

You can skip the campaign on your new character for the season, which then will let you begin the Season of the Malignant with your new seasonal character, whether they are a Rogue, Barbarian, Druid, Necromancer, or Sorcerer.
