When it comes to buying items in Elden Ring, it’s not as simple as warping to your hub and picking up everything you need. Rather, there are nomadic merchants that are scattered throughout the entire world, each with their own unique inventory of items for you to purchase. However, the game doesn’t mark the merchants anywhere on the map or give you a viable way to do so yourself, so trying to remember where they’re all at is going to be a pain. That’s why we’ve provided you with this Elden Ring Caelid Merchant guide so you can at least get a handle on one region of the game.
Elden Ring Short Nomadic Merchant (Nook)
Where to find the Short Nomadic Merchant in Elden Ring
This merchant isn’t too hard to find, but don’t go looking while it’s night or you’ll find him near a pretty tough enemy on horseback. Follow the highway that goes through Caelid until you hit the very middle of the southern portion of the road. In a little rocky nook, you will find your boy chilling with his weird horse monster. Or you can just look at the map market we’ve left above for you, whatever makes you happy.
What does the Short Nomadic Merchant sell?
This merchant has quite a selection of useful items, such as a pretty great cookbook, another cracked pot for your collection, and a stonesword key. Of course, there’s also the very familiar-looking Champion set to be found here, and a note on how useful gravity magic can be.

Very Eager Nomadic Merchant (Lakeside)
Where to find the very eager Nomadic Merchant in Elden Ring
This merchant is a little harder to find than the other one unless you’ve already found the Astray From Caelid Highway North point of grace because he’s right next to it. You can find him about halfway down the west side of the highway, a little to the east of the road itself.
What does the very eager Nomadic Merchant sell?
The pickings are a bit slimmer this time around, but if you use a bow rather than a crossbow, you’ll visit this guy a bit more often as he sells an infinite amount of fire arrows, rather than fire bolts like the other merchant in this area does. Other than that, you can also pick up an infinite number of poison-dealing items which could come in very handy if you plan on cheesing your way through certain boss fights in the overworld.
Item Name | Amount | Cost |
Preserving Boluses | 3 | 2500 |
Poisonbone Dart | Infinite | 120 |
Poisoned Stone | Infinite | 150 |
Poisoned Stone Clump | Infinite | 250 |
Aeonian Butterfly | 5 | 1500 |
