Last week 100 cards were re-released onto the market. This was part of the FUTTIES Promo, one of the last promos in the game.

The first batch of the Promo re-released some of the best cards in the game, as well as a healthy amount of fodder to help with SBC’s. The second release of the FUTTIES Promo is set to be at 6:00pm on the 22nd of July.

Since the announcement was made about the new cards and the tease went live. Some players have already started to see their price begin to decline. The most noticeable player to already lose value is Team of the Season Karim Benzema.

Benzema was sitting at 1.4 million coins prior to the tease that he will be getting a second release, he has now dropped to 979,000 coins. This is the first time since he released that the player has dropped to under a million coins.

Team of the Season Benzema is one of the best cards in the game, with many of the cards left to release in Batch 2 of FIFA 22 FUTTIES being of similar quality. The market being flooded with more of some of the best cards in the game should make everyone drop in price.

We are reaching the end of the game and the value of players is now showing that. After this event, only Icons and Shapeshifters will still hold their value.

Obviously certain cards will never get too cheap, because of just how good they are, but it will be very interesting to see where the market sits after Batch 2 of FUTTIES.

The FUTTIES event in FIFA 22, is rumoured to be lasting another three weeks. By the end of it, it seems incredibly likely all cards are accessible and no longer too expensive.

FIFA 23’s all new market

Now we have received an announcement regarding the release of FIFA 23 – set to release on September 30th, 2022 –  it’s becoming increasingly clear there isn’t much life left in FIFA 22.
