There are many summons in Final Fantasy 16, such as Odin, Garuda, Ifrit, and the Phoenix, but will Bahamut be in the game? The world of Valisthea is divided into various realms in which Clive Rosfield must journey to complete his quest for revenge.

The First Shield of Rosaria will travel to these lands with his trusty Chocobo, Ambrosia, and companions Jill Warrick and Torgal. On his journey, he will meet various Dominants and their Eikons, but will there be Bahamut? This guide will detail if Bahamut is in Final Fantasy 16.

Will Bahamut be in Final Fantasy 16?

Bahamut is a summons seen across the various installments of Square Enix’s Final Fantasy franchise. As a result, Bahamut will be in Final Fantasy 16, and it will be presented as an Eikon residing in the Dominant Dion Lesage

As for Final Fantasy XVI, as mentioned above, Bahamut resides in the Crown Prince of the Holy Empire of Sanbreque, Dion Lesage. Dion is known to be the noblest and most feared order of knights, the Dragoons, and thus called the King of Dragons. Although his enemies fear him, he is greatly respected by both his people and troops.

The Holy Empire of Sanbreque is also the most significant theocratic force in Valisthea and, as a result, is built around Drake’s Head, the Mothercrystal. In the State of Play Dominance trailer, we see Clive in the empire of Sanbreque and meeting their King. Due to the empire’s significant role in the trailer, we suspect Dion will have a substantial part in FF16, similar to Bahamut Final Fantasy predecessors.

In the previous installments, such as Final Fantasy XIV and Final Fantasy XV, Bahamut played a pivotal role. Regarding Final Fantasy XIV, Bahamut was a Primal that would unleash his wrath across the realms. As for Final Fantasy XV, Bahamut, an Astral God, was said to have given the Crystal to the King of Lucis, thus starting the lineage of magical powers in the Lucis Caelum line.
