When you want to craft weapons and armor at the Blacksmith Blackthorne in the Hideaway, you will need to gather some materials. Final Fantasy 16 is filled with materials for you to gather with some being easier to find than others.

Where to find Bone Necklaces in Final Fantasy 16
Bones Necklaces are dropped by one type of creature, Gigas. Gigases are the large type of goblins that wield the massive clubs. These special goblin types are only found in a few areas around Valisthea. A reliable place to find one, however, is in the southern part of the Three Reeds section of Central Rosaria.
Of course, there are some side quests that will take you near this area so be sure to keep an eye out for any that pop up. You can also find Gigases around the northern part of Rosaria leading to Eastpool as well as around Lostwing.
This area is home to other crafting materials like Briar Clam Shell, Magicked Ash, Imperial Link, and Bloody Hide.
What are Bone Necklaces used for in Final Fantasy 16?
Bone Necklaces are used for crafting in Final Fantasy XVI. Specifically, you will need them to upgrade the Enhancer to +2. To fully upgrade the Enhancer, you will need Magicked Ash, Wyrrite, Earthen Fury, and Meteorite. These are the materials needed for all the upgrade recipes.
Throughout the game, you will encounter many weapons and armor pieces such as the Dark Sash and Gotterdammerung. Make sure to collect various crafting materials like Whitewyrm Bone so you don’t miss out on important weapons and upgrades.
