To reach his desired location, Clive must learn to attune to Obelisks in Final Fantasy 16. While the latest Square Enix installment is not an open world, there will be various areas where Clive, Torgal, Cid, and Jill must journey.

Of course, you will have your trusty Chocobo Ambrosia to guide you, but sometimes you may be eager to make a quick trip instead of the roundabout journey to complete your quest. This guide will detail how to attune to Obelisks in Final Fantasy 16 and what they are.

How do you Attune to Obelisks in Final Fantasy 16?

In Final Fantasy XVI, there will be plenty of times when Clive must make his way to an area with a long trip ahead. Thankfully, to help him out, he can use a Fast Travel point called an Obelisk. Clive must walk up to and interact with the structure to use it. To do this, press the X button on your PlayStation controller.

These Obelisks will begin to illuminate when Clive encounters them, and by interacting with the Obelisk, it will begin to shine throughout the day and night. To use these waypoints, click the Main Menu and navigate to the World Map. Once you have attuned to an Obelisk, you can also access the Local Map. You can do this by using the touchpad.

Across the land of Valisthea, there are many Obelisk locations or waypoints Clive can use. By completing various side and main quests, Clive can easily travel across the realm. The first Obelisk you will encounter will be in the Orabelle Downs, within The Holy Empire of Sanbreque region.

You can access your Active Time Lore to learn more about Obelisks. Here you can discover more about where they come from and the secrets of the Fallen civilization. Here, you will find that these ancient relics’ Obelisks closely resemble airships of the Fallen.
