Final Fantasy 16 is filled with various quests and side quests for you to complete. Each of these quests will grant you rewards that will help you progress through the game. Many side quests can be found in Cid’s Hideaway.
One of the first side quests Clive can complete is for Kenneth at the Fat Chocobo. Other side quests can be found all over Rosaria and Northreach. If you want to be a friend of the people, you will want to complete these quests.
If you talk to Kenneth, he will give you the Food for Thought side quest. Instead of being a cloak-and-dagger type of quest, it simply requires you to feed some of the locals. No combat is required and you certainly won’t need to waste any potions. Here is a walkthrough for the Food for Thought side quest in Final Fantasy 16.
Food for Thought side quest walkthrough in Final Fantasy 16
To start the Food for Thought side quest, interact with Kenneth at the Fat Chocobo in Cid’s Hideaway. Kenneth is the kitchen head who is standing behind the bar. The goal of the quest is to deliver Kenneth’s soup to the three bearers around the bar.
After accepting the quest, look for the three patrons of the bar who have the side quest symbol in front of them. There are no monsters here so there is no need to worry about fighting off foes as you search the bar.
The patrons are located in the following areas:
- One is in front of the bar
- One is near the Orchestrion
- One is up the stairs to the right of the bar
Once you have delivered the soup to the three patrons in the tavern, you can return to Kenneth and he will give you a reward. The reward will be some items from a nearby chest as well as some Gil. After this, you can move on to more side quests around Valisthea.
