The Final Fantasy 16 demo is available for download from the PlayStation Store. Square Enix created this demo to give players a chance to try out the game before the full game launches on June 22.

If you want the chance to play Clive Rosfield and try out the game’s intense combat, the demo gives you that opportunity. This demo is a decent length and covers a good portion of the game. Exactly how long is it though? How long is the Final Fantasy 16 demo?

Final Fantasy 16 demo length

The Final Fantasy 16 demo offers about two to four hours of gameplay. Like most demos, this is dependent on how much you choose to search and whether or not you need to reload a save due to death during a boss fight.

This demo of Final Fantasy 16 allows you to play through the game’s tutorial and prologue. The demo begins with you learning how to move as the older version of Clive before switching gears to the younger version of Clive for the remainder of the demo.

During the demo, you will visit three locations in Valisthea including the castle that Clive’s family leads, Phoenix Gate, and a marsh filled with goblins. You will even see a large battlefield with multiple Eikons fighting.

The demo allows you to get a good grasp of the combat system during your playthrough and will even have you fight multiple bosses before ending the demo with an intense fight. There is plenty to explore if you take your time.

After completing the demo, you can go on to try the Eikon challenges. During this time, you can keep replaying the challenges and even restart the demo if you want to experience the story over again before the game’s release.

Your progress from the demo carries over to the final version of the game so be sure to download it from the PlayStation Store if you are interested.
